Enthusiasm is contagious. If you love what you do, are good at it, and are willing to go to any lengths to get what you want, then doors will open where none appeared before.

I am committed to helping actors discover their passion, learn acting tools that work, and how to apply them in the workplace of today's entertainment business.

Chris Thatcher, artistic director

Chris Thatcher recently moved to Boulder from Los Angeles. For seven years in Los Angeles, and for the last two years here in Boulder, Chris has taught acting based on the Meisner Technique, the Michael Chekhov Technique, and other techniques. Many of Chris' clients are working professionally in Los Angeles, New York, and on location around the world.

During the past 25 years, Chris trained in New York, London and Los Angeles, acted in many critically acclaimed stage productions, as well as in film and television, and directed for both stage and film. Chris also studied with Michael Chekhov's associate, the late Jack Colvin, and NYU's Richard Schechner.

In addition to holding degrees in Theatre and being an active member of acting unions and guilds, Chris is also a certified practitioner of somatic psychotherapy, which enables him to help actors develop a deeper, more truthful approach to characterization and objectives.
